Look at all the matchups above us. Lol. Wow. We are pathetic.

Again, basketball.

Compare it to the other games on ESPNU. Many of the streaming and cable services do not carry ESPNU. Games on the major networks and ESPN have 20 times the available watchers.

This is what I noticed as well. Poor ratings but the best out of the ESPNU games.

Think this is important to note here. Also having it be a blowout didnt help.

FCS games on the NFL Network getting better ratings than FBS matchups on ESPNU tell me there is something screwy with these ratings.

Not necessarily. All the FCS games were HBCUs... those alumni are dialed in and actively seek out those watching opportunities. . That Jackson State game was particularly high 1. Because it was on ESPN and 2. everyone is curious how JSU does post deion

This is one game I kinda wish nobody saw.

That seems to have almost happened. Small first day crowd in person, low TV watching.

This is just further evidence that geography does not equal eyeballs. That’s why so much of the conference realignment talk about media markets is just ridiculous.

If we could get a solid 10 year string going, we would become the college sports team of DFW. Our brand is more accessible and progressive than TCU or SMU to the younger generation.
