We sit next to band parents and they told us they only allowed 1/3 of the band to be there because they were trying to be careful with the heat.  They still sounded good to me just not as loud as normally.  Also the Cal fans were super nice and cordial.

The heat.  Such a b.s. excuse. Everyone making a big deal out of it leading up to the game and it ended up being nice at the game. Low 90’s and cloudy. Suck it up. You live in Texas. It gets hot every summer. Acclimate.

I mean I was there and it was hot.  But it wasn’t unbearably hot and it certainly wasn’t near as humid as you would see in New Orleans or by the coast.  There was one older lady in my section that overheated though.  It could have been worse.
