Booger Kennedy and the NCAA books

There may be good reason for this, but I wanted to throw this out there.

Brandon "Booger" Kennedy, per MGS.com, finished with 61 career TFL.  For a DT, this is ASTRONOMICAL.  I think it is one of the best on-paper numbers we can use to illustrate his dominance.

However, his name is nowhere in the NCAA record book (p. 68).  Would this number not put him in there? Why isn't it?  He played his entire career in D1/FBS and is within the timeframe of these stats (2000-onward), so what am I missing?

Amazing stats but not surprising.   He truly was a once in a lifetime talent and so unique.  No idea on why they don't put him in the record book.
