I think we will be good at QB and RB. Shorter was a damn good WR and he will be missed, even though there is some depth. I have absolutely no idea how the defense will perform. That is my big concern.

I could be way off, but I think Morris will have a more dynamic offense than what we saw from Littrell the last few seasons. I don't expect any improvement from the defense. I have concerns. I don't think we lured enough depth on the D-line or enough talent at the LB positions. Even so, I think we are in for a really solid debut season in the AAC.

I agree with this and feel VERY optimistic about this season.  I am going with 10-2 because I think we will suffer just two losses against SMUt and Tulane.

I really do like Coach Morris and what he is doing, more so than any coach I have ever seen come in at North Texas. Head and shoulders above every previous coaching staff. 

My worries are how badly the portal hurt us, a new conference, and a new system 1st year.

Edit: possible fake news. May have hurt his ankle. Still through 2 interceptions in the first 8 minutes of the game.
