Either way, it is going to be hot.  Stay away from the alcohol prior to the game.  Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate, no heavy, greasy foods.  Be smart and you will be fine.

Here is a highlight video of the NT vs FAU game last year on October 1 at 3pm in Denton.   This is about a month after our Sept 2 start date this year at 3pm. 

While it doesn't show the home side much, at the 1:35 mark NT makes a TD pass into the corner of the homeside endzone. You can clearly see the shade line from the roof covering that corner of the home stands at that time, meaning the whole home side is shaded then, which is 5:36 remaining in the 2nd quarter so I estimate about 4pm the entire home side should be shaded.
