How many of you currently know an 18 or 17-year-old boy? They change their minds more often than a butterfly changes directions! He could have a girlfriend now that is going to SWTSU. He could have buddies that want him to join them there. There are any number of reasons completely unrelated to football that can and do cause people to change what school they plan to attend.

There is also the sad fact that several "fans" here seem to enjoy commenting negatively about UNT football more than celebrating when things go well.

P.S. All programs have players that get flipped, and as VideoEagle said, there are many reasons.

It’s the “who to”, not the why.

I quit paying attention to "Commits". Until they sign you don't know who you got..and then maybe.

If I was a high school senior and the football was better in San Marvelous I would go there simply bc of the rivers. We have to face the sad reality that for the first time in decades (maybe ever), the football is better there.

Honestly, can you blame him?

Is this a real question?

The University of North Texas or Texas State-San Marcos?   Yeah, I can certainly question his judgement.

A real question? Naw, I was just trying to see if I could hook ya Emmitt. Just kidding.
😉

However, San Marcus is 30 miles from Austin. 49 from San Antonio and close to New Braunfels. Cool locations with lots to do. Texas St campus is not too bad either.  Good coach. Football team trending up. Sun Belt conference competitive and might be perceived by some as the top G5.

But yes we are, say it Emmitt, North Texas, better than everyone else.
