Considering what Tulane did last year and the talent SMU is bringing in, it’s absurd to rank UTSA above them.

They are doing that solely due to Frank Harris returning at QB period!

Finish in the top 1/2 and finding a qb I would think that would be a successful season! GMG

Finding a QB must be Priority #1 (for any team).  Chandler Rogers is a Junior.   Only one more season after this if he is "the guy".  What if he turns out not to be "the guy".   Do we have younger promising options, or look next season to someone not on the roster yet?

Head is a Sophomore but got hurt in the spring game (no idea how he's doing) and Gebbia is a freshman but just got here. If Rodgers isn't the guy then it's gotta be Ruder this year and hope for another transfer next year that might work out or a massive uptick in development from one of the guys on the roster already.

I feel much more confident in this staffs ability to find a QB than I did with Littrell. So I'm not as worried if Rodgers doesn't pan out

ill be happy with a top half finish....not expecting it though.  tough ass schedule, new qb, dwindled defense.

Not so sure how much more difficult is us that usually. Navy, Tulsa, Temple, Rice, FIU, and whatever FCS game we have this year gets us to six (none guaranteed but none were particularly good last year). Not sold on Memphis but their QB is solid and we don’t have one, but they or Cal are beatable although would be considered upsets. Who knows how good UAB will be with a new staff. I think our “usual” 6-7 win season is easily attainable and should be expected. That would pretty much put us in the top half of the conference.

I would accept that.

This isn't Morris' first HC job, like it was Seth's.

In Seth's first season (2016) we went 5-8, 3-5 in conference.

With a first-year coach?

He is a first-year coach at NT, but not a first year head coach.

And he is not taking over a 1-11 program.

I’m definitely drinking the kool aid.  I wasn’t trying to be funny, though. I also dont think it’s far fetched to say we could beat UAB and Memphis.  What was funny?  1-3, or 4?

4.  But hey, stranger things have happened!
