If I read this correctly, at 100,000 watts coverage should not be a problem.  WAY TO GO JARED!!!!

KEGL (97.1 FM) is a commercial radio station licensed to Fort Worth, Texas, and serving the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. It has a hot talk and sports betting radio format, known as "97.1 The Freak," and is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. The studios are located along Dallas Parkway in Farmers Branch (although it has a Dallas address).

KEGL has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 100,000 watts, the maximum for most FM stations. The transmitter site is in Cedar Hill. KEGL broadcasts using HD Radio technology. The HD-2 subchannel carries an active rock format.

Need to work on getting men's basketball games on KEGL too!   KHYI is not strong enough to cover the whole Metroplex.

Would Dave and Hank still be on the broadcast?

appears so...

Football broadcasts are led by a familiar voice in North Texas alumnus and two-time Emmy-award winner, Dave Barnett, who handles play-by-play. Barnett enters his ninth year as the "Voice of the Mean Green" and is joined by color analyst Hank Dickenson, who is in his 28th year as a member of the UNT broadcast team.

Mavs will likely boot Football off The Freak a couple of times in the fall once they start play in October. Trying to coordinate basketball would be a nightmare. Like Mosley said, its not ideal having every other game broadcast on a different station.
