North Texas will have a very busy college football 'bowl game' season this year.

North Texas is is scheduled to have at least 6 college football bowl games this year. The first one on December 19th with the Frisco Bowl at Toyota Stadium.

Then its the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl in Fort Worth at the Amon G. Carter stadium on the TCU campus on December 23rd.

The SERVPRO First Responder Bowl takes place at Ford Stadium on the SMU campus in Dallas on the day after Christmas.

Then, the Goodyear Cotton Bowl at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on December 29th.

Frisco will host its annual FCS Championship game on January 6th at Toyota Stadium.

New this year, the East-West Shrine Bowl is moving to the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco on February 1st. That is a great opportunity for the Cowboys to be scouting the best college football talent.

KRLD's title for this article is very misleading.   A better wording would have been "DFW area will have a very busy college football 'bowl game' season this year".   But thanks anyway for the free UNT kudos!
