For Dan McCarney or any other "contributor" coach... yeah, I agree. For arguably the greatest football coach of all time (lots of debate, I know), maybe not so crappy. -

Cart before the horse. You can't win a super bowl if you never make it. He hasn't sent anyone to the NFL in decades, he hasn't won a national title as a coordinator, he hasn't had any top recruiting classes or players that he can point to and say "I helped him get from freshman year to first round". It's gonna be a disaster without huge NIL money bringing in players, and even then you still gotta coach them. And if he were still such a great relevant defensive mind then he would have gotten an NFL offer. -

THE BAND (Bowl Version)
2024 Texas State Bobcat Marching Band pre-game show - Search Here is the Green Brigade's competition at the Bowl game. It looks like they have 200 instrument-playing members, and they get just as big a sound as our bloated 400+ band. PLUS, they are more energetic, and enthusiastic when it counts.....pre-game. You don't see them sauntering from one point to another on the field.......playing a tired old march (American Emblem). They enthusiastically play tunes that are tied to their school. This is a great football band! -
