Glad they jumped in on the gear for us I truly appreciate that.  That said, it sure doesn't look like they spent a bunch of time on the designs.  I didn't see one thing on that page that excited me enough to buy.  Bummer.  Maybe they will come out with something more attractive later on?

Typical of our fans. Moan and groan that we don't have options, and then moan and groan when we get them.

I don't think they did a very good job of reading this fan base's interest in past logos or eras.  No Flying Worm says they don't really know North Texas' athletic history.  Fail.

I believe they try to focus on throwback designs that are rarely used. The Flying Worm is still used all of the time.

Forgive me if I'm not falling all over myself for this.

Voertman's is less expensive with more creative designs.

That's hilarious considering Voertman's is going to stock the collection

One logo from the mid 80's, three from the 50's, one statue head, and one basketball hoop.  Yes, most are throwbacks that are rarely used and I do appreciate them for that.  Just think their research and sales could have been better with other options.

Their whole deal is to dive and offer more rarely used historical designs and not clutter current and readily available offerings. They actually teased that they had designs ready to go back when we beat Purdue in March Madness, and being Indiana grads they were champing at the bit to drop them. From what I understand, the typically insular thinking of UNT’s UBSC stymied them at that time.

I’ve always loved the Homefield folks for being steady supporters of the college sports media that I put my faith and trust in. Also, some of the softest apparel you will ever find.

I’m going to pick up the 50s war eagle sweater and look forward to when they do a brand refresh likely before the holidays.

I appreciate them taking the time and don't at all mean to damper their enthusiasm, but when I showed them to hubby he didn't see anything he felt like he had to have.  Hoping they will try some more traditional stuff.  He always remarks that he wishes he could get what the coaching staff and players wear.

I am happy for more options and that we are getting more licenses and companies to get us more gear. However I agree with some others have said.  These are prints and the stuff I didn’t want to buy when I was in school. I am not excited about any of these old school designs. I also want the new stuff and current gear coaches are wearing. So we are making progress but not exactly what I want.

Bullseye. I am glad the feedback on their Twitter announcement has been strong.

I really think this stuff looks great.  Pricey, but catchy.

Pricey but worth it. We finally get quality apparel for North Texas. Time for our fan base to step up and buy it!
