Ouch, so at least they did it on a Friday.  I am very sensitive to this however.  This is not good news to receive.

Please explain.

This has been coming for a while now if you’ve been paying attention.

What were the clues?

They just haven’t been very good,

Yeah.   Seems a lot like the Seth position.  Overall, Brad’s a great guy.  Very successful early on, then the wheels fell of & he couldn’t quite get them back on.

Jared is definitely getting a chance to build/cement a legacy at UNT. He's having to make 4 coaching hires in the first 6 months of his AD tenure.

Agreed.  It is still early, but the Mosley hire looks like a great move.

Sorry, but this also reflects the shape Wren left the athletic department coaching-wise. To this point, it seems JM has made some great hires. Let's hope he finds someone to get the golf team back on course (pun intended) 🏌️‍♂️

Wren would rather let contracts expire than fire someone.

This was probably necessaryy. Stracke did much for the program, and he will leave probably leave it better than he fond it. Had some really nice successes including the development of a number of guys who went pro, two of whom won pga tour events. But the last 5 years just were not great in terms of national rankings, and it was not looking like clear improvement was about to arrive.
