Can anyone help identify this former player?

Before blurting out an answer, please read the notes below:

1. This photo appears to be a part of the pre-game senior introductions at the final home game of the season against Arkansas State in 2003.

2. I suspect this is Hiram Gonzalez (it is certainly not Dominique Mackey).

3. In 2003, however, Hiram Gonzalez was listed as a sophomore on the roster. Why would he be running out with the seniors?

Anyone have any info?

Based on his personal trainer bio he was out of eligibility.

If he enrolled at Texas in the fall of ‘99 his 5 year eligibility clock would’ve run out in the fall of ‘03.

That’s Hiram.  I think he may have had one more year of eligibility left, though. I spoke to him after he had graduated. I don’t remember the exact year, but the coaching staff was trying to get him to play one more season.   He wasn’t interested. I believe his exact quote was, “I’m not trying to pull a Chris Weinke.”  😂😂😂

Thanks for locating that. I had no idea he previously went to Texas.
