According to sources Austin Peay Grad Transfer WR James Burns is on campus today visiting North Texas. 

The 5-foot-8 Burns had a break out season this past year catching 39 passes for 517 yards and 5 touchdowns.

North Texas has had two wide receivers into the portal in last few weeks in Jyaire Shorter and Tommy Bush. North Texas had TCU transfer Blair Conwright on campus last week. North Texas could be looking for the duo to fill the openings in the wide receiver room. Burns has received offers from Troy, UCONN and Jax State since entering the portal.
