I will be there and keep an eye on Denton participation...I am not optimistic.

It was a great turnout. I'm guessing 500-600. Anyway....the area that it was in....was jam packed.

Abou and Tylor were both there. Tylor, Kai, Rubin and Aaron all spoke. There was no surprise "I'm staying" comment from Tylor....but he and Abou both got nice rounds of applause.

The women's golf team was there...and they're awesome. So is Coach Akers.

And one final thing............WAIT TIL YOU GET A LOAD OF THE MEAN GREEN FIRE TRUCK. Coolest thing I've seen in years. Someone will post photos I'm sure.

unpopular opinion.....eastside is overrated.  if you are the pretentious, fancy, random ass beer guy, it is a great spot...but a regular guy that just wants a beer, no thanks

 

their patio/outside area is probably the best in town

I’m a John Williams fan.  The service at his bars just blows everywhere else out.

I don’t recall the City of Denton ever making such a single vibrant commitment to support North Texas more than this.  And hats off to Ryan Peck and all involved for nailing the color spot on.   Absolutely bad ass!

it is good, but i get the same from other bars, service wise.  nothing wrong with his bars and he is a great supporter.  i am a regular at the bar his dad is always at...great service at that spot

Thor is not a craft beer guy so I feel like he should preface by saying that.

      I hope we lose to Temple

      I whole-heartedly disagree. We are not a mob. We are the fan base, and the only ones that actually give a crap. That's why we are demanding more than the sh!t show that is currently being feed to us. I refuse to marginalize the frustration of our fans. And if our AD can't or won't fund a Morris buyout, then he needs to be replaced too. Our stadium is usually half full on game day, when we have around 400,000 alums within an hour of campus. It is time we get someone that can build a real program in Denton, not make excuses for why we should continue to accept failing in football.

      When I was at the game watching the disaster unfold, only to check Mosley's Twitter and see him retweeting a Christian rapper during said disaster, I felt embarrassed for paying to be there.

      Why does Morris still have to be here next season? FAU was able to fire Herman in year two. Tulsa fired Wilson in Year two. Charlotte fired Poggi in year two. All three were hired the same year as Morris. Why can't Mosley fire Morris in year two? If three of our peers in the AAC can fire coaches in year 2, why can't North Texas?
