Ditto. I feel the same way. Is there anything that can be done to change this?

The only thing that could have been done was to have a strong commissioner who could guide the conferences away from this disaster of the two largest conferences rule.

That didn't happen and won't with the new commissioner either.  Just because the new commissioner is a former governor of Massachusetts doesn't mean that he can control the Big Two (if he wants to keep the job).  We do have some teams that don't belong in Division One and likely never will.  There should have been a standard set and adhered to.  The original was a stadium of 30,000 and attendance of 17,000.  It's why we had to drop back to 1-AA for 12 years.  Now there will be several that don't have a stadium of 20,000 (our old capacity) and an attendance of 12,000.  If there were eight conferences with 12 to 16 teams anyone could be eligible for a playoff.

THEY ARE GONE. TIME TO MOVE ON (OR POST ON THEIR NEW SCHOOL'S BOARDS)

MODS (IF THERE ARE ANY FOR THIS FORUM), PLEASE MOVE THIS OFF THE UNT FOOTBALL FORUM

I miss the days when the UNT Football and Basketball forums were actually for UNT players and recruits. But, like all things Social Media - Get the clicks!

Even if they are ex-UNT, I prefer player-specific talk over general Portal/NIL/NCAA-sucks talk.
