Why a Green vs Black, and not a Green vs White Spring? The answer is -

I don't get too caught up in whether we wear black or not, but once I saw Green and Black, that took the cake. We are Green and White. Why are we having a Green and Black game? Our school colors are Green and White. That's what we should be wearing. We have a pro football hall of famer who wore green and white. I don't give a crap about the kids today who will most likely never be hall of famers wanting to wear black. This game needs to be Green and White.

If they gave away the white jerseys and are most likely working on design changes for next season, why waste the money and buy new white jerseys for a Spring scrimmage?

I actually enjoy an alternate uniform every now and then.  I’m not a fan of black, but even with that, I wouldn’t oppose a blackout game once a year.  The problem I have is when there is no true uniform and every week seems to be something different that requires a “uniform unveiling.”

I got to admit, I'm now tired of seeing alternative uniforms all the time. Seems we have overused alt-uniforms to the point that our regular uniforms have become the alternatives. Mosley needs to reign in the use of alternative uniforms and relegate them back to their original intent. This season, I'll be wearing green at every game. No white-outs, or black-outs for me. I hope other will join me. Go Mean Green!!!

Seems like too much of a good thing.  Unveilings for home opener, road opener, an alternate uniform (or two), and hopefully a bowl game.

The uniforms represent The University of North Texas, and that’s all of us.

Thank goodness our military doesn’t follow this guideline. 
The uniform is for the university these young men and women represent.
