Commits to Lamar.  I am guessing he waited until all the other offers dried up.

Strange to end up from those offers to Lamar. Not sure if it was waiting untill they dried up or something else came; up perhaps grades?

He had out-of-this-world numbers as a freshman, and as a senior he threw only 12 TDs against 10 INTs?  Going by the above link, he didn't play at all his junior year.  I'm sure he greatly cooled as a prospect.

Didn't think to look at that.  Interesting that he moved from Beaumont Monsignor his freshman year to Beaumont West Brook for his soph and jr years and then to St. Thomas in Houston his senior year.  Moving around may have hurt him as well as the jump in competition.
