Softball vs. Charlotte (4/14-16/23)

Huge 10-game stretch upcoming for the ladies. Hosting the current CUSA leaders Charlotte 49ers who has posted an average nonconference record of 13-11 but is 11-3 in conference play. This is before taking the road for a nonconference three-game series at Mizzou, then at FAU, who's currently second in the conference, and finally the back end of a home-and-home with Oklahoma State. We really need to find the bats for this stretch, and somehow get out of this stretch with at least a 6-4 record to bring some momentum into the last home series and conference tournament in Ruston.

UNT and Charlotte vs. same opponents this year:
Georgia Tech: UNT won, 3-1; Charlotte won, 7-3
UTEP: UNT swept, outscoring 19-10; Charlotte swept, outscoring 29-11
WKU: UNT swept by, outscored 22-6; Charlotte won 2 of 3, outscoring 17-6

The team needs a good crowd this next weekend! Unfortunately(?), I will be in Port Aransas but I hope to make 2/3 against MTSU in May.
