You have shown the world what UNT has to offer and the heights that we can reach. You came and accomplished exactly what you said you would. Not much unsaid about what Grant has done for and meant to this program.

I went to the home opener in 2014 as a freshman and my friend group of ~6 accounted for probably half of the "student section," with nobody standing. I wish I could have gotten to enjoy Mac while I was a student more. The CBI run was the semester after I graduated.

Now since we've had a couple of weeks to dwell on this, I am not as sad anymore. I'm actually really excited to see Ross continue on what Grant has built and help us get into the Big Dance in 2024, and eventually overtake Grant in program wins!

And I know my wife is glad basketball season is over since we have a seven-month old. I can't wait to start taking him to more games and him to grow up watching this team.

I guess going 1 day to celebrate NT's great season without bringing up coaching changes, is too much to ask.
