Grants getting 3x the money in the premier Bball conference in a place where he built his coaching chops and met his wife with the only show in town.

You keep a good coach by giving him everything he needs to win. McCasland wasn't given that by UNT. He won in spite of that.

 

 

The Super Pit wasn't packed like it should have been, there weren't any exclusive basketball facilities (repurposing the golf and softball place isnt anywhere enough) and of course being in a 1 or 2 bid conference doesn't help either.

He had to take this opportunity.
