I still believe that Traylor contract is going to come back to bite them at some point. He is going to run out of Frank Wilson’s players eventually.

He'll bounce soon. Their lack of resources are starting to irriate him

Well they beat us twice last year, so.

Cool. Good on them for selling the farm for a decent little stretch in one sport. Much rather be in our spot in the long term.

They couldn't even afford to buyout Henson on the last year of his contract. They have no money and sold the farm for a couple of C-USA football championships. I'd rather be in our spot and let them have their couple of C-USA wins.

His first class was in 2020 and they ranked 8th in CUSA.  Since then, their classes have been ranked #2, #1 and #1.  I don't think running out of Wilson players is an issue.

Perhaps but Cardenas, Cephus, Clark, Harris, and Franklin are all Wilson recruits. What happens to their offense when all those guys are gone?

Traylor is doing a great job of greasing the exit skids.

You sign the big deal then you add the “I was told they would keep investing in the program”

Smart move on his part

He gets to have it both ways now. Big money. Put the program in trouble because they’re paying you so much money….then set the school up to blame when you leave. Hey it won’t be Traylor’s fault. UTSA didn’t hold up their end of the bargain.

what are they going to do if they go 6-6 in 2 years. Always a possibility. Those eggs in that basket are gonna get heavy.

I'll add....if he wins the AAC this year and say he goes 10-2...he's going to rebuild next season with a new QB (I think Harris is out of eligibility.....maybe he'll get a 12th year I don't know)

But say he has a good year this year and P5 comes calling, I would think he has a hard time saying no. What is his buyout?

He's not winning the aac. They've dominated the worst conference in the country.

$7 million until January 1, then it drops to $6 million.
