Rice finishes with 19 wins. They are the only team to beat us this season that failed to reach 20 wins.

Yeah but it also seemed to be a soul searching loss that led to a real solid improvement in play after. We immediately smoked UAB at their place (without Jelly) and we’re 13-2 since then. Sucks that it took a loss to get there but I’m happy with the progression the team has made.

CUSA was obviously a stronger conference then the selection committee or anyone thought.   Problem was, the OOC schedules made it hard to gauge, and the bottom end of the conference being so weak didnt help either.

Did you see the way too early 2024 bracketology predictions for seeds 1-4? It's all for fun but they put FAU as the 4 seed in the South region in Dallas. They only had 1 team listed in the First 4 out and it was Texas A&M. The explanation was they'll always have something to complain about anyways.
