Cisse is gonna be a handful inside…we are gonna need Abou and Sissoko to play solid minutes when he’s in the game.  Boone Is the toughest matchup…Scott will likely get to guard him.  I’m excited to see Tylor vs Anderson and Rubo vs Bryce Thompson.  I give OSU the length and depth advantage…but we have a heart and hunger advantage!  Plus…we have Grant Freakin McCasland!!!  Their student section will be lively…they are back from spring break!  I expeythe Maniacs to have another bus and we should have a student section presence.  Hope it’s not in the 3rd row.  Hopefully our band can come too!  It’s gonna be a great atmosphere!

that was a perfect game of basketball. both teams played tough as hell, it was well officiated and in the end the best 5'8" guard in the country knocked down a 30 footer for the win.

Watching on TV it appeared slightly more full than that.  It was definitely less than Wisconsin and Vandy for sure.  Both of those schools 2nd round games seemed pretty near capacity.

This is another way I thought we kinda got screwed. How do we only have 2 days between games and a #4 seed like Cincinnati who played on Sat get 3 days?

Well, 6 of the quarterfinalists played yesterday so multiple teams were gonna have to play Sun/Tue.  Just wish we weren't included.

Yes, I wish we had the Wednesday game instead.  Although, the Wednesday games are on ESPN2 and Tuesday games are on ESPN!  We would face the winner of Oregon/Wisconsin in Vega$.

OSU has the same amount of time to prepare and I would think we would be the more difficult team to prepare for with Abou's availability still in question.  Nobody got screwed.

My match-ups.

7'1" Cisse: Abou/Sissoko draw this assignment and both can handle it just fine.  Cisse is the Big XII Defensive POY.  Averaged 7.2 points per game, 6.5 rebounds and 1.86 blocks per game.

6'9" F Smith: Aaron Scott gets Smith who does the dirty work for OSU, much like Scott for us.  Averages 3.5 pts and 2.8 rebounds.

6'3" G Asberry: My guess is Kai draws this assignment.  A transfer from TX St., so the poor guy knows what it is like to lose to us in the post-season.  Second helpings are provided.  9.6 pts per game shooting 39% from the field and 34% from beyond the arc.  Prior to the E. WA game, Asberry had scored in double figures in eight straight games with a high of 24 against TX Tech.

6'1" G Wright: TP.  Wright transferred in this year and started all 35 games for the Pokes.  He averages 30 minutes per contest and 9.9 pts. on 37%/35% shooting from the field.

6'6" Thompson: Eady/Jones.  11.9 pts. per game and OSU's leading scorer.

Hadn't thought about it until I saw these photos but this must be a huge deal for Stone and his family. He was offered by Oklahoma State if I remember correctly and Stillwater is about 1 hour away from his home town. Might be one of the first times he gets a large family/friend presence in the stands for a college game. I hope he has a great game.

Agree. Those green jerseys are our best look. The whites are a very close second. Just win, baby!

      The Band

      I think the band is fantastic. The show was amazing this year, the band was loud in the stands and I thought the pregame was fantastic. I wonder how many complaining have donated to the Brigade or contributed to the program. The drum line is clean, the horns are loud. There were some coordination issues with the press box/dj’s this year, but I know the time these kids put into band. It’s massive. I’m a proud alumni of the Green Brigade, and I’m proud of how the band represents us old-timers today. Thank you, Green Brigade, for supporting the team and your school, and for the dedication you show week in and week out.

      I hope we lose to Temple

      I stopped when I could give tickets away to people who live in Denton and like football. After the new smell wore off Apogee (DATCU) it was impossible to give 3 tickets out of set of 4 away. Then I would have to drag one of my sons kicking and screaming to fill one of my 2 season ticket seats. Now I buy week of the game. In 2025 I probably won't even do that. Just very sad. Leadership doesn't care to win just participate. When and if Clemson breaks free of AAC we will end up in something more FCS than FBS. And I am not sure how they will pay the bills with that reduced revenue. 😥

      Okay how about all the grumpy fans that donate and go to games just stop complaining take their money and time and support something else? By my calculations about 5-10k undergrads are giving the players the 🖕🏾 disguised as empty seats at games. To the eye roller reaction: what do you suggest? Have you ended up wasting season tickets money because you couldn't drag any of your friends or family to a game on a GOOD WEATHER Saturday? Genuinely curious.
