I was at that game in person, very very weird to see 2 non UNT teams on our court

Reminds me of the Benford days when the only preseason tournament we could get into was one we hosted, with a bunch of a random ass schools on different corners of the country.

Yeah, I think the biggest issue for this game will be motivation.

I guess we can safely talk about it now.

Watch the "official clock" closely. It's displayed directly between the scores on the display. Full screen, pause and toggle to where the clock shows 00.1.  Where is the ball when the official clock shows 00.1 remaining?

.

The actual clock appears to be .2 seconds ahead of the scorebug. At .1 seconds it's still clearly in his hand.UNTTexasState.png.26d66c702d1f6a57330bb7840def2a97.png

The ticketing system may have recognized you as an ID: Ten-T customer.

The NIT owns this game and requires to be paid for every person that gains admittance. The Athletics Department, Student Affairs Division, and many boosters are just being incredibly generous by covering the costs for the students.

I'm pretty sure that's there because students don't get into the NIT games for free, even at home. Or an outside organization usually donates to send a lot of students for "free."

Interesting. Seems to be very quick for an "outside donor". I wonder if there's just a fund built into our athletic budget to buy these tickets for students. I could see us only having to pay $1/ticket.

@Matt from A700 is on the right track.  The TV score/clock are not the official numbers.

Oh, I saw that and I agree. It's that we had separate clocks which should have been synchronized, providing differing results which could theoretically impact the final results of the game. I say "theoretically" because Texas State's demise was already determined when they selected those disgusting uniforms for a televised game.

Grey unis... don't let the uniform color sticklers see...

I’m admittedly a uniform color stickler, but the light gray doesn’t bother me.  I actually kind of like them.

Abou with the miss on the easy bucket then the foul for the and one. I expect better from a third year player and starter. Cmon Abou. Can’t miss those easy shots at the rim.
