Is it reasonable to think adrenaline overrides any argument for exhaustion in the first two rounds? That it doesn't really come into play until round 3 and beyond?

Just a suspicion.  I have zero insight.

No, I agree that usually the exhaustion doesn't really start to show until your 3rd game.  Still, I like that the Bulldogs had to play an OT game.

MUTS win by one

Huge, IMO. One of 3 teams to beat FAU granted they won't be at home tomorrow. Charlotte only got 1 shot off in that last 19 seconds. I know coaches want to take the last shot down 1 or 2 but I don't get it. Get the shot you want, if you miss and don't get the rebound, you have time to foul and get the ball back. If you make it, play defense.

Why is the Rice / UAB game not showing up on the ESPN + menu?

Rice has Captain Caveman playing the 5.
UAB up 5 with eight and a half left in the first period.

On the record now calling an MTSU upset. Not sure why. I'll take the hit if I'm wrong.

The schools going to the AAC have been dominating the CUSA championships this year... Maybe CUSA will fix the game to try to get one of their loyal members to the ship? 👀

The only sport the defectees suck in so far is women's basketball. Three of the four semifinalists will still be in CUSA next year. And I'd rather root for them than UTSA.

Looks like MTSUs basketball season is about 20 minutes from its end. Very hard to imagine they come back from this deficit against FAU.

Well, maybe they play in the CBI or somesuch.
