 I pick UTEP, FIU, and Rice.

UTEP is the big underdog that no one wants to play.  They are physical and, after you beat them, the game will linger into the next round.

Will be in attendance for all men’s game, can’t make women’s game unfortunately but will be watching.

Really looking forward to the 8:00 tipoffs, excited to see how Denver Jones plays.

Crowd is decent, WKU has been taking some wild shots. UTEP blew a massive lead, maybe Stans gets those guys motivated to win this.

Hilltoppers with a big comeback.  They have the talent to defeat FAU.  I don't think they will, but I also wouldn't be stunned if it happened.

FIU not getting much offense outside of Jones and Dean. Still, I'd rather face La Tech than FIU mount a comeback and come out with a win. Those are two dangerous guards that I'd rather avoid.

Wow, UTSA comes back and wins at the end by one after trailing basically the whole way.  Rice is gone.

Rice just choked away a 5 pt lead with 34 seconds left and they had the ball.   No way UTSA beats UAB.  Damn.

Is it reasonable to think adrenaline overrides any argument for exhaustion in the first two rounds? That it doesn't really come into play until round 3 and beyond?

Just a suspicion.  I have zero insight.
