Men playing in a loaded field this week.  Early on we are tied for 5th at even par with Louisville.  TCU leads at -5.  This is a loaded field with the following ranked teams competing:

#3 TX Tech

#6 Stanford

#15 Pepperdine

#21 Baylor

#22 CO. St.

#28 LSU

#33 Liberty

#35 Northwestern

#42 TCU

#44 Louisville

#47 Kansas

Finished 54 shots behind winners Peperdine, and tied for 18th. That is a tie with 47th ranked Kansas and behind all the other ranked teams as well as several non-ranked teams -including Charlotte.

Overall not a very successful result, but to be fair it was a really stacked tournament (This field is better than your average NCAA regional)

True, but our #1 and #3 players blew up for a combined +17 in the final round.  Bergsson has been on our team for years now and rarely produces.  He was +24 for the tournament in our fourth position.  Strake needs to improve recruiting and depth.
