Biggest problem is the fact that he still hasn’t taken responsibility for the way things ended. He was talking once about how he’s top 5 in receiving yards in program history (it’s true) and no one brings him up. Buddy, there’s a reason for that. Completely oblivious.

If he ever came out and said he handled things poorly, I think people would remember him more positively bc he really was a damn good player. I just don’t think he cares and honestly, that’s his right.

Oh I think he cares. but his pride outweighs it. With that last season he was challenging fans to ‘suit up’ because they were critical of an extremely bad football team. He was the kind that would say, you can’t talk unless you play. I know I am no pilot, but if I see a helicopter lodged in a tree, I know someone effed up.

He might have had talent, but he couldn’t handle the big stage of div 1 football. And UNT isn’t that big of a stage and he couldn’t swim.

Y’all are latching onto a whipping boy to take out your frustrations over a terrible season on.  He was very outspoken & very selfish.  Nate Brooks was the same way, but since he played on some excellent teams, it’s all good I suppose.

Harris was really the only guy I observed giving everything he had on every play that year, even before the gates were locked.    Few others were.  I appreciate that.  I have no qualms with the guy.   Glad he’s doing well!

Did you appreciate him flipping off the crowd as he was kicked out of his last collegiate game?

Of course not.
On the flipside, all he heard from the fans all year was about how he & his team had quit.   And for the most part, they were right, but not about him.    I'd be frustrated if I were him too, but that was too far.

Definitely not mad enough about that to crap on the guy each time his name comes up around here.

I made impulse decisions I regret while in college. Shoot...I made plenty of mistakes this past week.

I'm a bit confused where the value is in holding on to anger associated with the end of his NT career.

Wishing him the best.

What does a “self help motivator on social media” do ?  Does that pay the rent ?

If they are able to monetize their social media accounts, there is a potential to make money. For instance, YouTube pays for views.

Seem to remember he was also arrested at some point as well?

This wasn’t impulse.  This was consistent selfish behavior.
