Their pitcher Schoonover.....may be tough to beat. She struck out the side in the 1st.

0-0 in the top of the second.....Go Mean Green!!!!

Kentucky pitcher has now struck out all 9 batters she's faced.

We’re facing a buzzsaw. She is now up to 14 K’s.

How did UTA beat Kentucky?

Well, it is likely to be a long time till NT plays a team this good.

UTA didn't have to go against the same pitcher we did.  It isn't that Kentucky is that incredible--not that they're shabby, either--but that pitcher was unhittable.

Yes, you are right.

She reminded me of Hope Trautwein's game were she struck out every batter she faced (21).   Of course that was against Ark Pine Bluff if I remember correctly, not the number 22 team in the country.

She was just in the zone tonight. We just caught her at the wrong time for us, but the right time for them.

Not really.   They play #4 Arkansas and #13 Texas in about 2 weeks.  Then later in the season face #5 Okla State and #23 Mizzou.

Yes, you are right: NT loaded up the non-conference schedule.

Should play dividends in conference and hopefully post-conference play

Should have stated pitcher like that instead of team, that I believe

Most of these Top 20 programs have a dominate pitcher.  It will be good experience for our hitters to face a multiple of them.
