The way Sam Houston has been playing, they seem like the team we need to beat. This one scares me. I hope our ladies get it done. I think the game against KY may have lost some of its luster.

Sam Houston comes into the game with a 4-3 record having beat UTA earlier today 15-8. I am predicting a MG win, but giving up a run or two.

I know that you know a whole lot more than me about softball, so I am leaning on your knowledge and hoping you are right.

Skylar pitching...had a tough start....bases loaded, no outs. Got out of it....giving up only 1 run.

We tied it in the bottom of the first.

We took the lead in the 2nd.....2-1.

Skylar, after the rough start....has settled down........kept them to 1 run.....thru 4.

Now in our fourth....back to back bombs by Donahoe (2 run shot) and Simon (solo blast)....Mean Green now up 5-1.

Mean Green tack on 2 more, but the Bearkats get one back in the top of the 6th, currently 7-2 with the MG coming up in the bottom of the 6th

A Gamble solo shot moves it to 8-2, SHSU coming up for their final turn in the top of the 7th
