Student Athlete support

When I was in school back in the Stone Age, the football players attended most of the home basketball games. They didn't always sit together but were present. I always see Grant and most of the current basketball guys and girls at every home football game. Anyone know why they don't support the basketball teams? Maybe they have night classes but that doesn't keep them from attending Saturday games. Maybe Coach Morris will see this and address it with his players once he gets settled in and can catch his breath. I know it is a little thing but since we have over 85 football players, that would make a difference in the student section. Not sure how many softball, track, golf, volleyball, ect players attend the games but it would sure be nice for them to support each other.  Great win last night vs. UAB. Go Mean Green!

I've seen them at the basketball games.  Talked to some of them walking back to the dorm right before the bowl game.  But yes, it should be more noticeable.

I have noticed this as well.  I truly wish they encouraged more comradary.
