August 4, 1944 - March 5, 2022 Grand Prairie, TX ? Hubert Ferrell Dark, Jr. (named for his father, who was named for the doctor who delivered him), was born Friday, August 4, 1944, and passed to his Savior, Jesus, the Christ, the Messiah, on Saturday, March 5, 2022, in Grand Prairie, Texas. He was the third of four children born to Ellener Nettie Carter and Hubert Ferrell Dark in Tyler, Texas. Hubert Jr. graduated from John Tyler High School, Tyler Junior College, and the University of North Texas.

He was a he-can-write-the-best-or-can-improve-your-program programmer and computer analyst. This gentle man enjoyed family, music, puns, slap-stick comedy, Mean Green football and travel, especially, family and music (hopefully in that order). An intelligent IT professional, he had a unique, infectious laugh, strong work ethic, and unshakeable faith.

He was hired by LTV (Dallas) in 1968 when the company developed their computer department. Hubert enjoyed sharing that during their startup, LTV leased time to the Dallas Cowboys for the running of the Cowboys' playbook. He retired from the (formerly LTV) now Northrop-Grumman Ingalls Shipbuilding facility in Mississippi in 2012.

Hubert presented both truth and satire in political postings and expressed concern that many people may not realize that they alone choose where they spend Eternity. He understood that Jesus died for and forgives us and is always bidding us, "Come to Him".

Hubert is survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, and his sister Faye. He is predeceased by his parents, his siblings Ruth and Dean, and his beloved daughter Beverly June Dark Anguiano of whom he said, "It was an honor to be her Dad".

This kind man was honored during a private family gathering. Place of interment: Kendrick Cemetery, Tyler, Texas.
