The "Fun" is Back

This whole new regime, from the AD down, has been great. Don’t get me wrong, Wren and Seth did some awesome things here, but I think things got a little stagnant. Let’s hope the new guys can build upon the former amazing work and get UNT even higher!

That's why I am sort of disappointed when people bring up the former coach and make comparisons etc and try to justify and compare them.  This staff is such a breath of fresh air and I am so excited about where they can take us.  There is really no comparison to me.

I’ve seen some publications putting us with the AAC.  I guess it just depends on who’s putting out the info?

If we were on the AAC list we would be 3rd from the bottom in recruiting, ahead of only Charlotte and Navy.  

I think the new coaching staff did great considering how little time they had to make connections.  I already see huge gains in high school contacts in some very athletic schools.  This will pay off next year in recruiting and in portal transfers that ask former coaches about who to contact.

This is probably the best reason for a HC change, as we discussed before the change was announced.   The football program and fan base needed a new leader to add some emotion and hopeful excitement to the future.   It will already pay off with more fans and ticket sales as enthusiasm is building.
