Central Missouri is D2 with an enrollment of 10,000 or so.  It was founded in 1871.

Have friends that went to Northwest Missouri state. They are pretty good in sports.

They're D2, so I guess he's getting a partial scholarship

I believe D2's are need based. They will apply for financial aid and scholarships pick up some portion of the balance.
