Was looking at the CUSA tournament brackets this morning. I believe I'm correct on this:

There will be 5 byes in each bracket (men's and women's).

On Day 1.......teams 6-11 will play (6 vs. 11, 7 vs. 10, 8 vs.9)

That will be produce 3 winners.....who will then go on to play the top 3 seeds in Round 2. The other (4th) game in round 2.....will be a matchup of the 4-5 seeds.

We're in really good shape right now. I don't think we can catch FAU, because they have essentially a 4 game lead on us (since they won the season series).

But, if we can stay in that #2 seed spot.......we would avoid them until the Finals.

Barring a collapse, I don't see us dropping below 4th in the standings.  I feel pretty good about us being either 2/3 and avoiding FAU as long as possible.

On a neutral court, we need not avoid them--beat them.  They are only good for a four point win over us this season, so we have the ability to knock them off.  It is not like they buried us the previous two times we played.
