I'm kinda confused, because it sounds like you're wanting to blame Nelson for "the mess". So, to clarify: You're saying Brian Nelson created this system for his gain? Or, was this done way before he even had eligibility, and he would just be really stupid not to take advantage of the opportunity in front of him? He's going to sign on for scholarship monies wherever he goes. That part doesn't change. It's the NIL money that's different. -

No sir! The players did not cause this NIL mess. The players are the end product and take on all the risk. The stupid coaches, universities and administrators are the real culprits. If they hadn’t been so damn greedy we would be fine. The idea that they players deserved none of the billions of dollars of TV contracts, video games and jerseys etc is just absurd.- 1

No, the players created this NIL mess of a $ystem because of greed. They signed a scholarship for free education to play for a certain school. That was their compensation for agreeing to play. Then they got agents to become involved, then courts, now the mess.- 1
