Why does CUSA schedule men and women games of a University at the same time?

If you want to built fan support, it makes no sense.  How many primarily men's basketball fans are going to ignore the women's game because part or all the game is played when the men's game is on?

The games are not archived on the CUSA site so it is at best problematic to record on and watch the other live.  I assume this is done to boster attendance at the games, but it is a disservice to those that actually pay for CUSA game coverage.
