How could we not have a possible two team rep at the tournament if they lose and we win in the conference championship? I keep hearing how we are only a one rep conference but I can’t see how they would be excluded in this scenario.

Of course, that is provided FAU wins out till the conference tournament.  Not sure that is a given.  They'd probably still get in even with one loss in (regular season) league play, but perhaps not two.

At this rate, FAU would make it as at large. NET ranking is too high. Being ranked in the AP helps them too. Anybody else needs to win the conference tourney.

FAU has a lot of close wins.  Example was OT with FIU just before our game.  6 wins of 4 points or less.  Many early season wins vs no-name programs.  They are not a dominate team by any measure.  Lucky, yes.

When you are winning every close game, it's not luck anymore.

16-1 is too good of a record to keep ignoring and it helps that 11 ranked teams went down in one weekend. Hope we dismantle them in the tournament.

It's hard to beat teams twice in one season, much less 3 times. That's how the saying always goes in college football, but adapting it here. If given the chance, I don't think we lose the 3rd time.
