2022 Assistant coaches

When the HC is fired they usually have a buyout and are not hurting. However, assistants sometime struggle to catch on when the staff changes over and many have families they are supporting. Here's wishing good luck to these men as they look for their next job. The ones that show still at UNT are on the Football website

Surprised Mayes hasn't ended up anywhere yet. I feel like he was one of our better coaches and TE was typically a good position for us.

Interest rates are no joke right now. I read an article the other day that houses are now on the market for 100+ days compared to 1-2 weeks previously.

Assistant football coaches are basically nomads.  It comes with the job, most will find positions; some better than at NT, others not.

With Mayes to Tulsa, it looks like only Petrilli and Passwaters on the market from our 2022 assistants.

Mayes is now the running back coach at Tulsa
