I tried to argue with this but it's true.  

Houston - at 8-5 I don't see the logic in ranking us ahead.

TAMU - Talent Gap huge; does anyone think the old coaching staff is that much better than what they have/had in College Station?

Baylor - 6-7 but played a much tougher schedule and they have a talent advantage. 

@Jason Howeth you are going to learn than giving an objective fact based opinion will earn you majority downvotes more often than not.  I wish our GMG Board was better and could take fair but tough critics of the football program better. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Suggestion - Take a minute to see how rankings are made

Teams are measured against the overall strength of their conference.

What DCTF is trying to do is take into account how you performed against your schedule and you league

I don't think they balanced it correctly. Our strength of schedule had be the easiest in more than 22 years.

Ha, I've been here long enough to know that, unfortunately. Believe me, I knew the boo birds would be out for that one.

Credit to those 3 schools because they play and recruit well, obviously, and at a higher level than UNT. Truth is, though, we wouldn't beat them, plain and simple. Even with Jimbo Fisher's team in utter shambles, they still pull it out. We might keep them close, but at the end of the day, 0-3. The hope is that Morris can change all of that

Again, this is not a who would beat who. It tries to rank based on how they performed compared to their conferences.

It makes perfect sense.  We've been middle of the pack for years now.
