The Warhawks’ starting quarterback for the 2022 season, Rogers finished the year with career-best numbers: 2,403 yards, 15 touchdowns and 7 interceptions with a 67.5 CMP%. Those are excellent stats. They’re even better if you zoom in. Rogers played without a ton of help at ULM. Nearly 10% of his passes were dropped this season, per PFF. So if you look at his adjusted completion percentage of 79.4%, it’d rank seventh nationally among all FBS passers.

The threat of a dual will do a world of good in the AAC, and with his experience in SBC, not a huge jump in talent (after the success of the SBC last year), let’s hope this offense is similar to what he had at ULM that he credit with his breakout

I’m inclined to agree but look at what Seth brought in. He couldn’t evaluate QBs to save his life and several of those guys are rated higher than Rogers.

I trust Morris’ QB assessment way more than I trust Seth’s

Other teams are picking up dudes that have never played. He had nearly 68% completion last year. 18% better than Aune

You gotta let go of HS rankings. Just bc a transfer player had a high ranking out of Hs, doesn’t mean he’s a high ranking transfer.

Rodgers is someone P5s we’re going after (Cal and Indiana)… he has started in competitive conference and played well vs the likes of UT/Bama…

we complain that we need to make in roads with DFW recruits, and we land a solid QB with experience and we discount it…

no pleasing this fan base

What? It’s not a spin to evaluate a transfer based on his college body of work rather than his recruiting profile.
