TCU looked like hot garbage tonight but I don't look forward to our conference home opener against them with Holgerson at the helm.

That being said, they're the only DFW team with a realistic chance at a national title.

Good thing they are expanding the number of playoff teams in the future.

Hopefully it leads to more of the great type of game we saw in the semifinals.

Not true, Alabama ran through Notre Dame like a dump truck through a glass wall several years ago.

That was 2012 and only 28 point defeat. Biggest title defeat was in the 1996 champ game (1995 season). Nebraska vs Florida. Neb won 63-24. This surpassed that with ease. This was as embarrassing as it gets. In the literal sense of it.

The talent and big game experience gap were on full display.  Frogs have nothing to hang their heads about.  Amazing year.  Georgia had absolute murder in their hearts from the start and they are by far the best team in the nation.

It was 28-0 at the half. Alabama was coasting by the time ND put up any points. Alabama had the ball for over 38 minutes.

I think the Frogs just got the deer-in-the-headlights syndrome going from the hype and pressure and it got out of hand.  They played much more loose last week.  Some teams simply are a horrible matchup vs others.

Still a phenomenal season to be proud of.  I’d take 13-2, a huge win in the Semi’s over the Big 10 Champion Michigan and a 2nd overall finish any time.

I remember that game.  Nebraska could have scored 90 points on Florida if they wanted to.  Georgia may have beaten the margin Nebraska had, but it was no more dominant than that game was.  Especially considering the Huskers ran the option and had several time consuming drives.

People railed on Littrell for losing bowl games despite having descent seasons.

Now a completely embarrassing performance by TCU gets a lot of great to just get to play in the game praise from some NT fans.

Obviously, playing for a national championship is a major accomplishment, as was beating Michigan.

Not trying to compare NT to TCU football, because there is no doubt; TCU would beat NT as bad as they got beat by Georgia.

However, NT fared much better than TCU in the Frisco Bowl playing almost even ball with Boise State.  I didn't see much sympathy for Littrell for what had to be a much better coaching job than TCU had tonight.

On a different note, the announcers said that TCU would be bringing in 30-35 new kids in recruiting and mention that many would come from the transfer portal. Why can’t UNT do the same thing?  I keep reading that we only have a few spots to give.

By the way, I’m not a TCU fan and was happy to see a blowout.

Meh. Truthfully, they should've lost to ohio state last week.

Georgia beat LSU for the SEC title by 3 touchdowns. TCU lost the the Big12 title game. These teams aren’t close to the same level.

Right but TCU handled Michigan pretty well. Michigan beat Ohio State who should have beat Georgia if not for a fluke shanked 31 yard field goal. Sometimes it's just about how one matches up with another.

Tcu beat Michigan by 6 with the help of 2 pick 6s and Michigan's offense gaffing off twice inside of tcus 5 yard line. Much like tcu's season, that game felt flukey. Tcu is not as bad as last nights game suggests. But they are not even a top25 team in terms of talent. It showed. Truthfully, look at their games all season... it showed often. Credit to them for finding ways to win. But I could easily see them .500 next season though.

TCU made it to the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP after a 5-7 season

We lose the Frisco Bowl to a 6-6 MAC team.

These are not the same.
