Crowds are a good problem to have. It means people want to see the game. But I agree UNT should consult a traffic flow advisor for signage, egress, ect. There are professional consultants that do this.
But I remember games at Fouts, as a season ticket holder, when we were not so good and neither were the opponents. I could arrive 15 minutes before kickoff, pull into the lot in front of the Fouts by the highway access road, plenty of spaces, and be in my seat with a concession drink/food before kickoff.
I'd rather have more fans and delays!
I went to an A$M game this year with a moderate donor friend. He had parking access in a 6-story garage 1/4 mile from the stadium. Took 30 minutes to get in and an hour to get out of the garage. 100K people.
The thing about scheduling these lower division schools is a similar thing that all P5s do, at least in football. They want their records to look good at the beginning of the year before beating up on each other later in the conference.
