I’ll take a first-team all conference FCS guy over a P5 guy who can’t make the two deep every time.

Sounds like he's getting better all the time (Beatles lyric). Five picks and 2 pick sixes for 2022. Get him and feed him.

Even more impressive when you consider that Deion Sander’s former Jackson State is also in the SWAC.

And Jackson State had the number one recruit in the 2022 class, Travis Hunter,  that also plays CB and did not make first-team SWAC.

I didn't say it was bad, just noticed we're offering more small school than p5 guys.

It feels like historically we have had hits with the small school guys way more often than P5 ones. It isn’t close. The reason they leave P5 is because they cannot sniff the p5 level depth chart which, frankly, shouldn’t be good enough for us either. The small school guys leave because they have achieved enough notable success to finally get seen as a legitimate player by making all conference, etc. Give me the small school guys like Mazin Richards all day everyday..

Yeah, I took your statement as an observation, not an implication of preference. Just added my two cents on top of your observation, not in opposition to it.

He missed at least 5 games due to injury.

No, I'd say that we are going after the ones that can play.  He may not be injury prone just not conditioned.
