Good destination for the team and fans. Winnable game on the road. Familiar opponent. Then get them at home in a few years. Makes total sense. Not sexy but solid scheduling given the situation.

who of yall thinks you may all be going?

I was hoping we had ANY East Coast games this season so I could more easily make a game but our F_U games were all in Denton, we didn't play Charlotte, and Marshall and ODU left CUSA.

Next year I am back in Europe, otherwise I would absolutely do Miami.  I did it from Honduras in 2011 for the beginning of the Mac regime.  Shitty weather and not much better play on the field from UNT, but still a trip worth making. Such a horrible, erector set stadium, however.

SMU 7-6

Tx Southern 5-6

UNLV  5-7

Memphis 7-6 bowl eligible by beating us.

Plus the conference games were a complete joke schedule strength wise.

So pretty much 10 times easier then next year. I am not sure what your a talking about.

I am definitely not sure what your point is.

You did see that I stated out of conference games.

If you think last year schedule is 10x easier, I have no idea how you believe that; but if that is your opinion; so be it.

Littrell must be really irritated.  On paper, NT has the easiest football schedule I remember since they returned to D1 FBS.

2023 oc football schedule, 2022 record

ACU - 7-4 fcs

Cal - 4-8, in Denton

La Tech - 3-9

FIU - 4-8

NT should win every one of these games

Sorry I keyed in on "NT has the easiest football schedule I remember since they returned to D1 FBS."

I find it hard to project what our 2023 record will be with a new coaching staff that got a late start in recruiting. While we do need a QB, in my opinion we must rebuild the defense which requires a lot of moving parts and won't happen over night.
