I agree. Zach seems to be thriving as an NFL coach, and that is also good for UNT. Maybe someday he would want to return to the Mean Green, but after his NFL journey is finished.

@Side.Show.Joe you have any other "insights" you may be willing to share with us?

So Joe. Looking into your crystal ball. When you think Defensive Coaches will be hired

Ha! I have no clue. Maybe after New Year's. I'd think Caponi will have a big say in who serves on that side of the ball.

Sure. Mosley wants to turn dirt on the athletic expansion. It is the top building priority within the athletic department. Most of the other building projects will remain stalled until this expansion is completed. If you've ever been inside the AC, you know how short they are on space and resources to accommodate all of our athletes. The new master plan should be released early in 2023, and it will have the redesigned (all of those new off the field positions need space) and expanded athletic center as the top priority. Hope that helps.

So- is the SID the one that is keeping us in the news- by slow release??

I think they have to get "officially approved" to be hired by UNT before being announced officially, as in checking background, credentials, education, etc.

I see a lot of young "prove it" hires. Definitely oriented to recruiting. I'm a bit scared of how we can develop those players and a lot less concerned how we get those players now.

Seth had a history of good recruiting classes with poor performance.

I feel like once they release/announce something in terms of AC expansion they will get a few more donation to come in… I know I’m waiting, after working in a damn closest with 3-4 other people it’s vastly needing to be expanded.

Do OU coaches want to come here after how a few of them were upset with SL getting let go?

Agreed, and I think they will also have the naming rights to Apogee to play with as well.

Didn't I hear they are revising the expansion plans from the original expansion plans?  To include more staff space or trim the price down?

Yes but they are expanding the space not shrinking it.  That is why they are needing to make a new push for additional donations.

Ok, so an additional expansion of the expansion?  And is the additional space the figure JM said was about $26M?   It seems the original expansion was going to be in the $40M-something price range I believe Wren said?   My numbers may be off.
