Wait, god isn’t real?!

Well you know, that’s a question that’s a little different for everyone, right?

for centuries we were really presented this monolith of deity known as God…a kinda “the way it is” style of worship, until 2023 years ago a man was born who really deeply questioned his religion and the conventions of the time recognizing that what he had been taught didn’t really represent his truest expression of himself.

From that rebellious act we learned of the Holy Spirit and the trinity, a kinda umbrella-like catch-all for these new expressions, that to many may’ve seemed a bit queer at the time, but have since become kinda emblematic of a deeper understanding of “god”.

In the two thousand years that followed really it was just a lot of people really “finding themselves”. Maybe for a lot it was truly just “god” for them, but while others were 100% “Jesus”…but a lot were possibly “mostly god” but on the weekends after a few glasses of wine became at least “Jesus curious”.

and then none of this really even  takes into account so many of the polytheistic gods long forgotten like Pan or Amen-Ra that I think a lot of people now today are more exploring and better identifying with than the black and white labels of deity they were taught by the parents.

short answer, if you think of religion as more of a rainbow you get closer to a more thorough understanding of “god”
