Nobody playing tonight for the Mean Green knows the joy of ending a season with a bowl game win. That's a shame. We've had some good players and strong character guys on these Littrell teams.

Obviously losing sucks, but this game was competitive. We did not get blown out and the effort was there. I am not embarrassed like in previous years. I am optimistic heading into the American. I'm hopeful we will have better QB play next year and the butterfinger issues our WRs have can be resolved.

We fought really hard against a team that's more talented than we are, that should be commended. Wish we won though.

So, we join our fellow Texas teams (SMU and Rice) in losing today.  Great.  But like others have said, at least this was a good competitive game against a good team.  Compared to some of our other recent bowl games, this is an improvement!

Good game.  Wish we could have come out on top, but this was our best bowl showing since the HOD bowl and it came against a name opponent.

I just watched it again and don't think PB was giving him any guff. It was a weird conversation. The other coach walked away and PB said something that made him turn around. Then a Boise assistant gave PB a friendly chest pat. It almost looked like they were talking about how to get the teams to exit in different directions.

After the coaches talked a Boise player poured Gatorade on their coach and then threw the empty cooler 15 feet into a crowd of teammates. Not the brightest move.

I thought we played pretty well, especially considering we usually get blown out in Bowl games.  We've only won like....3 of them in our entire history.

I for one am glad to close the chapter on the SL era of football. This game exemplified what has been wrong these last few years. It also reinforces that getting rid of SL was the right choice. It's time to go a different direction and move forward.

Was a fun game to be at despite the high 30's temps by the 4Q.  I appreciated that we kept it close, there's been a lot of blow out bowl games the last few years.  Aune's pick and the last two drops were three nails in the coffin.

The Littrell years are done.  Mourn, celebrate, whatever... Time to move on to bigger better things with Morris in the American.

Aune, look forward to seeing you playing in the CFL, USFL, or XFL. 🤢

Despite the loss, that was fun! Littrell era officially over now. Hopefully on to better times ahead under Morris.

Other than the QB position, I am not so sure that BS was more talented.

The defense either wore down or BS make half time adjustments.  I've never fully understood why NT plays so far all pass receivers.  Keep long plays down, but it doesn't matter if the other team can almost automatically threw for 5 to 10 yards.
