We'd have to offer him the DC position, at a minimum, for him to even think about leaving his current gig.  Is he ready for that?

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see him back.  But if not, I'll continue to cheer his success as an NFL coach.

You never know until you ask him.

Craig Robertson is available. Or maybe Marcus Trice. Not as coordinators, but I'd love to start bringing some of our prior stars back in the fold.

Just saw Craig is on the board of the Light the Tower initiative.

Please bring them based on qualifications and not nostalgia. If we want a former player on staff, our best bet is to hope Cobbs is retained.

Then we better get on the phone with Orr right now, because he checks both boxes AND has NFL playing and coaching pedigree

This. This. This.

It seems like a ton of people just mention guys because they used to play here or coach here.

Zach is doing great in the NFL.   His trajectory is going up in the league.   Why not stay there and coach there?

agreed, we keep saying we want x, y, and z from our coaching picks and we need to be very selective about our process, then we turn around and start campaigning to bring former players back to the staff.

Are they good coaches? it damn sure looks like it, but that doesn't necessarily mean they'd be a great fit. I'd rather have Morris feel comfortable with the staff he puts together than be stuck with former players who the fans are biased towards.
